NIKKI SLOAN lives in South Florida with three dogs and the ghosts of characters developed over the years. Her previous life was dedicated to corporate finance and quantitative analysis to fund journeys through Europe, South America, Indonesia, New Zealand, the Caribbean, and the Middle East. Today she is devoted to walking on the beach and dreaming up new adventures.
